I am hauling a giant suitcase down the street. It dawns on me that it contains human meat. A dismembered body I need to dispose of.
Where did it come from? Who were they? Did I kill them? Did I do the dismembering? How do I get rid of the body? How am I going to get out of this?
A policeman notices my panic and asks to see inside the suitcase. I unzip it and realise that the contents are, in fact, 83.2 kg of Hida beef.1 I am supposed to deliver the meat to the village butcher.
The policeman says, ‘Get moving before the meat goes bad!’
Hida beef is a certified brand of beef from Japanese Black cattle. The cattle must have spent the longest part of their rearing period in Gifu Prefecture and must have been fattened for at least fourteen months by a producer certified and registered with the Hida Beef Brand Promotion Council.
